Richard asks…
Where are there Banksy signed prints available?
Just out of curiosity. I have searched online but I can’t find his identity. Are there any graffiti street art Banksy signed prints available?
Admin answers:
Nobody knows as it is a secret. You wouldn’t go paint on someone’s wall and use your real name, it would be stupid and you would get arrested. There has some evidence suggesting he is someone called Robin Gunningham but it cant be proved and hes not a graffiti artist he is a street artist. There are some Banksy signed prints available online at sites such as Ebay.

Susan asks…
Has anyone seen a Banksy signed print and if you did what did you think?
Admin answers:
Just went looking for some – some good stuff – I think grafitti has unfairly picked up a bad name because it is so often applied to the Kilroy was here type of stuff. The artistic kind can really brighten up a neigbourhood.
By the way whilst checking out Bansky I came across Paul Curtis – He apparently has the authorities baffled as to whether he is commiting an offence because he performs his graffiti with soap – selectively cleaning grime covered walls to create “reverse-graffiti”

Helen asks…
Banksy signed prints help?
I have a project where we’ve been studying the style of graffiti that the unkown artist Banksy does, and we have to come up with a similar style of graffiti about topics that teenagers are faced with. I need to look at some Banksy signed prints for inspiration. Where can I view them?
I could do a graffiti about puberty, or alcohol or even drugs but Banksy art has a clever twist in it, if you know what I mean. So instead I could maybe do a picture of a syringe injecting itself with some human blood or something, you know, to include that twist in the picture?
Admin answers:
I love Banksy art, he is so awsome, I love his stuff! Check out the 18minute chalk farm on google he did round the back of the roundhouse very clever. Yeah You Guys doing stencils then I’d do sex with a humorous twist Its really easy to come up with an idea man think of something incredibly dull and put a humour in it like somthing completely unexpected.

Thomas asks…
What is your opinion on Banksy signed prints and why?
Banksy, the graffiti artist. What do you think of his work? Find it interesting? Do you like his street art or dislike it?
Pick a Banksy signed print and tell me what it means to you and what message you thought he was trying to portray.
Admin answers:
I like Banksy art. It is fairly basic in that they are stencils but still look good. They can also be both stencil and complex. I like them a lot and also that of Blek le Rat.
As for what they mean to me and messages I have no idea. I like them. They are vaguely humorous and anarchic in their appearance but that is all. I don’t go in for deep meanings in art and all that deep philosophical stuff. A picture is a picture. It might tell a story but that is all for me. How I view it is going to be very different to the next person. I think Banksy is very tongue in cheek with his work.
